What I have learned after 4 kids...
1. How to function on little to no sleep
2. How to look a blind eye when one of your children paints the wall and ceiling with Spagetti sauce
3. How to get over the fact that you have poo on your shirt and throw up on your shoulder...just ignore it, its not worth the extra laundry you'll add by changing your clothes
4. How to rock a pony tail
5. How to sing along with Diego and Dora
6. How to get 4 kids in car seats with minimal tears...my tears not theirs

...and most importantly
7. How to ask for help for my children's sake, not my pride
8. How to slow down and play hide n seek or egg hunting instead of doing the ever piling laundry
9. How to spend 20 min of making immature and embarressing noises just to see Sam smile for 2 seconds and enjoy how it makes my heart soar
10. And how to just enjoy life for what it is, not for what it isn't. To remember that Lauren won't always tell me she's sorry for the lamp she broke 6 months ago, that Lilly won't always put a "T" after every "R" (Brother-T, Connor-T, Dinner-T, etc) and Connor won't always want to show me how he can count to 100 over and over again. Its been a hard lesson to learn, I'm definItely not perfect at it, but I try and remind myself if I only had today.
